The AuxBox Kit is comprised of the basic kit plus the LMA-3 AuxBox. This multi-sensor auxiliary input peripheral for the LM-1, also known as the "AuxBox," fulfills the promise of a complete 6-channel, 44-minute performance tuning and data acquisition system for less than $600 - including all of the sensors!
The AuxBox can do everything the Type 2 RPM Kit can do and a lot more. The AuxBox has built in sensors including a MAP sensor for Manifold Absolute Pressure / Boost and a 2-axis Accelerometer. The AuxBox is pre-configured for Injector Duty Cycle / Dwell as well as Thermal Couple Input for EGT / AIT.
Each data stream, other than the AFR stream, is fully programmable by you the user! Data stream #2 can be RPM, data stream #3 could be EGT or inlet air temperature, data stream #4 could be injector duty cycle, data stream #5 could be an accelerometer or boost / Manifold Absolute Pressure, data stream #6 could be water temperature or oil pressure! It is completely up to you!
Correlating AFR, RPM, Boost, and CHT (Cylinder Head Temperature), for example, is essential when tuning piggy-back fuel controllers, ECU programmers, aftermarket ECUs, or racing carburetors. With the AuxBox it has never been easier and you have never had such power in the palm of your hand!
